Initially, the Lord gave the vision to three people several years ago.  The vision was for a vision for a training ministry to equip present and future leaders.  In 1998, the Lord put these three people together.  After many months of prayer and discussion, it was decided to proceed with the many details necessary to form this ministry.  A major goal was to provide training that would equip workers with a practical and efficient method that would allow students to continue with their current work or situation while being trained.  We believe the Lord will use people today wherever they are in their experience, knowledge, and maturity. We feel they should not have to stop their current work to continue their education.  We also wanted to assist people who could not live close to us, so we have developed this ministry so it could be available anywhere in the world.

These three men come from different backgrounds but essentially have the same vision:  To equip men and women to serve the Lord and reach our dying world with the truth of God's Word.  Most of the curriculum is taken from the mainstream Christian resources of today using many authors and speakers that also come from many backgrounds but have fundamental truths in common and do not water down God's Word.  

Dean Grotzke graduated from the Pillsbury Baptist Bible College and from the San Francisco Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree.  He completed his Doctorate of Ministry degree from Golden Gate Theological Seminary in Executive Administration and Church Leadership.  Dean has been a senior pastor for thirty years and has taught courses on a college level at four different colleges/seminaries and has a special emphasis on teaching in his pulpit ministry and in his classes.   Dean is currently the senior  pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church of Everett, WA.  

Daniel Black graduated with a Bachelor of Theology and was the senior pastor at  Cornerstone Ministries in Moorcroft, WY and Alexander Valley Christian Fellowship in Alexander Valley, CA.  He has been a Christian school administrator and regional educational consultant for hundreds of Christian schools and churches over the last twenty years.  Dan has trained pastors, principals, and teachers from many Bible believing denominations in the western United States.  He was also the administrator of Eagle Bible Institute in California and the CFO of Pacific Justice Institute. 

Michael Bruce has been a school administrator, pastor, foreign missionary, and educational consultant over the last twenty years.   He was also the administrator of a Bible college extension program in his church in Wyoming.  Mike has specialized in educational technology assisting dozens of schools and thousands of students at all levels.  He has also written software used by thousands and developed websites for many ministries.  

Windsor College was formed as a California non-profit corporation in Windsor, California and is also a 501(C)(3) exempt organization.  It is governed by a board of directors with day-to-day operation run by the corporate officers.  Dr. Grotzke resides as president of the college and his administrative department also oversees course/curriculum development, student advisory, and accreditation reviews.  Mr. Black resides as registrar in the admissions department.  Mr. Bruce oversees the technology department and implementation of courses to the internet.  

Windsor College is a young ministry (twelve years) with experienced leadership.  We currently have a small enrollment which is expected (Lord willing) to grow rapidly from the indications of interest we have received from all over the United States and several countries around the world.  Believers are seeing the benefit of high quality training without the sacrifices of finance, travel, leaving families and current work. You may find many of our resource authors are names you know and the format of the college fitting your available time.  

Our main concentration over the last twelve years has been to develop quality bachelor programs.  Our current goal is to develop programs for Windsor Seminary.
